On 29 July 2009, Compuscan CRB’s officially opened the doors of their brand new offices in Kampala. All stakeholders, clients and staff came to admire the many new modern refurbishments and décor attributes.

The event was kicked off with some welcome drinks after which Mike Malan, the Managing Director of Compuscan CRB Uganda, took the floor to welcome and update everyone on where exactly Compuscan CRB is in the delivery of the credit reference services to Uganda. Remo Lenisa, the Group Managing Director of Compuscan Holdings also attended the event and he took the opportunity to share his vision and group strategy for Compuscan in Africa.

Compuscan was subsequently honoured with the presence of the Governor of the Bank of Uganda, Prof. Tumisiime Mutibile, who formally addressed all guests and performed the cutting of the red tape to officially open the doors of the new offices to all clients, guests and employees.

Afterwards everyone enjoyed a quick tour of the new offices and some cheerful entertainment.

Mike Malan shared his feeling of success by commenting, "It feels good to share this event with all the people who have worked so hard to make Compuscan CRB such a huge success during the last year. Our offices in Uganda are looking more and more like the Compuscan Head Office in South Africa and this definitely contributes to the successful marketing of the Compuscan brand as a major player in Africa."
