PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO MANAGING DIRECTOR

Compuscan CRB is an international credit bureau organisation providing credit risk services to the financial sector in Uganda under license by Bank of Uganda.

An exciting career opportunity has come available for a dynamic, experienced and professional candidate to hold the office of Personal Assistant to the Managing Director.

The successful incumbent should be young to fit the culture of the organisation, degree graduate, and must be prepared to work long hours if necessary to get the job done. Her duties will include schedule management, meeting preparations, travel bookings, function coordination, administrative duties, selected staff supervision, attending to purchases of administrative office requirements, as well as the weekly and monthly report compilation.

Prior experience in working in a similar role for at least 3 years will be an essential factor in succeeding with being selected to this position. Key skills must include the ability to independently use Microsoft Office products confidently at an advanced level without the need for training, especially Excel, Powerpoint and Word.

Information Integrity - Team Leader

  • Credit instrument knowledge
  • Trouble shooting problems independently
  • Data collection, input and analysis

  • Supervision of a team
  • Dispute resolution (in any field)

The successful incumbent will also display the following key competencies:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Keen eye for detail

General

  • In all cases excellent knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel is a requirement for working at Compuscan
  • The need for being able to commit to long working hours cannot be stressed enough - staff will be asked continuously to give more than 100% to achieve deadline goals
  • Compuscan is committed to looking after its staff that are prepared to go the extra mile in the form of incentives and recognition rewards
  • All Compuscan staff are required to belong to at least a hospital plan medical scheme.
  • Full training will be provided where specialist information is required
  • All appointments will be subject to a probationary period of four months to determine an employee's competence and abilities for the position. Candidates who meet or exceed the job requirements during this period will be offered full time employment with Compuscan
  • All candidates will be required to sign a secrecy oath
  • Successful candidates in specific roles will be required to enter into restraint of trade agreements with Compuscan
  • Although certain staff positions will require mandatory polygraph tests at specified intervals management reserves the right to test any staff at any time for any reason
  • Compuscan shall make reference enquiries prior to final appointments
  • Individuals that have had experience working in the personal or commercial loans divisions of any organization, and where applicable forex bureaus, or insurance companies are likely to be considered in the highest light for these positions
